Apukka Resort was founded in 2017 when Markus Kolari, Harri Mällinen, and Miika Sorvari set out to make Apukka the best resort in Finland. Despite challenges along the way, such as the Covid pandemic, the company has continued to grow, with its accommodation capacity increasing each year. Currently, Apukka Resort employs approximately 40 people year-round, and with seasonal workers included, the number rises to over 200.
