FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST
Apukka Resort Oy is looking for Front Desk Receptionists for the 2026–2027 season.
At Apukka Resort, the Front Desk is the heart of our operations, and its team members play a key role in creating unforgettable guest experiences and driving additional sales. The role includes handling guest check-ins and check-outs, managing and selling Apukka Adventure activity reservations together with our Adventure House department, and maintaining the souvenir shop. You will also resolve issues and find solutions to meet guests' needs. This role involves close daily collaboration with other departments, and you’ll be able to keep things running smoothly even during busy times. We are looking for positive customer service professionals who genuinely care about our guests and work with admirable precision. The role requires strong organizational skills, proactivity, and the ability to work well in a team.

We expect from you:
Previous experience as a front desk receptionist
Fluent spoken and written English skills
A responsible approach to work
The ability to handle pressure and solve problems effectively
You will stand out if you have:
Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: French, Italian, Spanish, German, Finnish
Previous experience with the booking systems we use: MEWS and/or FareHarbor
A degree in tourism or professional skills gained through work experience
Previous experience in seasonal work
The position follows the Collective Agreement for Employees in Tourism, Restaurant, and Leisure Services
Duration of employment: 26.10.2026 or by agreement between August - November -28.3.2027
Employment type: Full-time 112,5h / 3 week
Working hours: shift work, evening/public holiday work, weekend work. The role may require working at night.
Salary: 2431,67 - 2689,55 € / month + additional allowances

About Apukka Resort
Apukka Resort was founded in 2017 when Markus Kolari, Harri Mällinen, and Miika Sorvari set out to make Apukka the best resort in Finland. Despite challenges along the way, such as the Covid pandemic, the company has continued to grow, with its accommodation capacity increasing each year. Currently, Apukka Resort employs approximately 50 people year-round, and with seasonal workers included, the number rises to over 270.
